Little Fire Productions is a film and television production company based in Wellington, New Zealand. It is helmed by producer Letisha Tate-Dunning who has over 10 years experience spanning feature films, short films, feature documentaries and documentary series. Her short film GIRL TIME (dir: Eleanor Bishop) will have its world premiere at the 82nd Venice International Film Festival and she is currently in post-production on a documentary series for Television New Zealand and an independent feature documentary. She has worked alongside acclaimed producer Catherine Fitzgerald for over 3 years, including on feature film THE RULE OF JENNY PEN (dir: James Ashcroft), which Stephen King chose as one of his favourite films of the 21st Century for The New York Times, and short film FREEDOM FIGHTER (dir: Tusi Tamasese), which won the Spirit of the Civic Award at the NZ International Film Festival. Her short documentary Ok Chlöe (dir: Charlotte Evans) was acquired by The New Yorker and featured on Short of the Week. She is passionate about highlighting social issues in her work and aspires to work with filmmakers who have daring and bold voices.
